“My career and PWD advocacy at Amazon”

I have been working at Amazon for the last five years. I started as the public relations lead for Amazon Alexa and Echo devices, and currently lead publications for the entire Amazon devices and services range including Fire TV, Kindle, Echo devices, Alexa voice service, Alexa auto, and so on.
I consider myself lucky to be a part of this huge organisation that not only has a huge impact in the Indian community (worldwide, and space of course) but also always raises the bar when it comes to diversity and inclusion.
As you are aware, I am paralysed below shoulders i.e. have a cervical spinal-cord injury. I use multiple assistive technologies throughout the day which help me to give my best at work every day. At Amazon, I have founded and lead the AmazonPWD affinity group for employees in India. Our goal is to support pwd colleagues at Amazon and also sensitise colleagues about the diversity in disabilities and inclusion at Amazon.
