“Video: Wheeling through the Taj Mahal”

A wheelchair-user can thoroughly enjoy going around the Taj Mahal as it is made accessible with multiple ramps. This breathtaking monument is a symbol of Emperor Shah Jahan’s love for his wife Mumtaz Mahal.

It was built more than 367 years ago in Agra and has a distinction of being amongst the seven wonders of the world. Made of white marble, the walls of the Taj Mahal are adorned with carvings embellished with many precious and semiprecious stones.

Check out my video for a first hand experience of accessibility around the campus:

As you would have noticed, I had to navigate through a crowd of tourists on my wheelchair. I don’t think there is ever an off-season when the number of people wanting to see the Taj Mahal will be less 🙂

All the interesting snippets that I have shared in the video are thanks to my tourist guide.

Do let me know if you liked the video and have any questions about visiting Taj Mahal.
